We provide health care services using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), an unique,
holistic and independent medical system which originated from China and has been
used for thousands of years. TCM is one of the world’s oldest medical practices and
is rich with the spirit of Chinese civilization and culture. It is ever growing
in popularity as more and more people throughout of the world have been experiencing
the health benefits for themselves.
There are two basic components in TCM: AcupunctureandHerbal Remedies. They have
been used to successfully treat a wide range of physical, functional and emotional
conditions. TCM also treats conditions that do not fall into a particular disease
category, disorders that are inexplicable or un-diagnosable with Western medicine.
TCM has been established as a primary form of health care for thousands of years
in China, where TCM doctor's role is comparable to that of the physician. Today,
TCM remains an integral part of the healthcare system in China, being offered alongside
Western medicine. In the UK, TCM is considered as both complementary and alternative
Alternative Therapy: People seek the treatment through TCM when they find that conventional
western treatments do not work for them or if they just want a natural and safe way
of healing, perhaps due to reasons like being tired of depending on the chemical
drugs of conventional Western medicine and/or being worried about their harmful side
effects. Some people find that their medical treatment is causing unwanted side effects,
and others may be unwilling to rely on medication. Therefore, they would use TCM
as an alternative.
Complementary Therapy: TCM can be used alongside Western medicine as a way to enhance
the existing treatment, and/or to speed up the patient’s recovery. TCM can also help
with the side-effects of Western treatment, balance the body, and restore health.
TCM also works as an adjunctive therapy, offering the potential for patients to reduce
the dose of certain forms of medication.
Quality of Life and Preventive Medicine: TCM can be used as a preventative measure
to strengthen a person’s constitution because people may feel unwell without being
'ill' in the Western sense. TCM has much to offer to those who wish to raise their
quality of health and vitality.
